EXHIBIT
Nature: Water and Waves

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The subject of Water and Waves covers so many possible images. Water is the bases of life. It can be part of a vista anywhere in the world but especially in Minnesota with so many lakes and rivers. Water is found indoors and outdoors. It can be frozen, pristine or dangerous. Life lives within it. Use your imagination.

When one first hears the word, waves you think of water.  Sometimes waves can be damaging because they are so strong or they can be hardly there. Waves can be seen in landscape with the phrase “waves of grain”.  One can also think of clouds such as a cold front wave is coming through. I even think of waves in hair on person or dog’s body.  These are only a few of the images that come to mind when thinking about the word, waves.  We are looking forward to seeing how you interpret the subject of water and waves.

Notification of Acceptance will be sent: June 4, 2019
Exhibit Dates: June 12 to August 23, 2019
Artists’ Reception: June 20, 2019 from 6:30-8:30pm

Art Drop-Off: Monday, June 10 12-4pm or Tuesday June 11 4-8pm
Art Pick-Up: Saturday, August 24 10-2pm or Sunday, August 25 12-4pm

Any work left at the Arts Center 30 days after an exhibit ends becomes the property of the ACCC.

Information about eligible works can be found on our Gallery Standard Categories & Guidelines page. Please read before you submit your Entry Fee below. Please feel free to contact us via phone or email if you have any questions. Thank you.

To be considered for the Nature: Water & Waves Exhibit, apply by email to visualarts@artsofcarvercounty.org by the deadline above. We can accept up to 3 works per artist until the gallery is full.  Be sure to include your name, phone, images of your work, image list specifying the medium, size and retail price of each work submitted. Submit your Entry Fee at the same time you submit your work for consideration.

Membership is not required to be in the show, but Members are eligible for a reduced Entry Fee. To join the ACCC, go to our Membership page. We will notify all artists via email regarding acceptance to the exhibit by the Notification of Acceptance date listed above. If space provides, we may contact you to submit additional work for the exhibit.

Members, please SIGN IN so you can pay the Member rate. If you haven’t signed into your ACCC Membership Account yet, please go to our Account page for instructions.

ENTRY FEE
ACCC Members $15 for first entry, $5 for each additional entry, up to 3 total.
Nonmembers $25 for first entry, $10 for each additional entry, up to 3 total.

AFTER your work is accepted, go to the How To Submit Art page and submit your accepted works. Labeled artwork can be brought to the Arts Center on the Art Drop-Off date listed above. Please make sure your item label matches artwork submitted for the exhibit.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Culture is the water in which we swim as we negotiate through life. We deal with generations, race, gender, religion, sexuality and all other inequalities. Bringing light to the centrality of culture also opens up new avenues of influence and inclusion within our communities. As an artist, how do you express yourself and tread this water?

Exhibit Dates: April 11 to June 7, 2019
Artists’ Reception: April 18, 2019 from 6:30-8:30pm

Art Drop-Off: April 8th from 12-4pm and April 9th from 4 – 8pm or by appointment.
Art Pick-Up:  June 8th and June 9th, 2019

Artists’ Reception Invitation to the Passage of Time Exhibit

Please join us at the ACCC Arts Center to see 2D and 3D visual art work that represents the Passage of Time.  Join us and experience the works of local Artists, enjoy wonderful music, food and art. Be sure to attend our Artists’ Reception on January 17th where you can meet the artists and mingle with other Members and guests as you explore the insight into passage of time.
