SPONSOR A SURVIVOR

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Healing Ink & Art is raising $10,000 to help survivors access restorative tattooing and permanent makeup services, including areola tattooing, when insurance falls short. With the Arts Consortium of Carver County serving as fiscal sponsor, your donation can help remove financial barriers and restore confidence after illness or surgery.

OUR CAMPAIGN IS UNDERWAY

This October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are launching Sponsor a Survivor with a goal of raising $10,000. This community-funded program through Healing Ink & Art helps survivors receive restorative tattoo and permanent makeup services when insurance does not fully cover the care they need.

Healing Ink & Art accepts insurance for qualifying treatments and helps survivors who cannot afford restorative services, but gaps remain. Many clients do not qualify for coverage or face large deductibles, denied claims, and out-of-pocket expenses they cannot manage – all alongside the emotional and financial strain of illness and treatment.

THAT IS WHY WE CREATED SPONSOR A SURVIVOR

Donations help cover restorative services and the professional materials needed to provide safe, high-quality care. The fund also provides financial assistance and individual grants based on demonstrated need, with particular consideration for Medicaid recipients, uninsured and underinsured clients, and survivors facing financial hardship.

These services help people reclaim their brows, hairline, or areola after illness or surgery – and restore confidence and the feeling that their body belongs to them again.

BE PART OF SOMEONE’S HEALING

The Arts Consortium of Carver County serves as fiscal sponsor for the campaign, providing the nonprofit partnership that makes this community support possible. Our goal is an ongoing fund that allows Healing Ink & Art to continue saying yes to survivors who need help.

Help us reach our $10,000 October goal. Every donation, large or small, helps remove a financial barrier so a survivor can take the next step in healing with confidence and dignity.
