Welcome Back Open Reading
The Literary Committee of the Arts Consortium of Carver County invites you to join us for a “Welcome Back” Open Reading at the Chaska Community Center on June 29 at 7pm in the Theater of the Chaska Community Center. Poets and Prose writers are invited to share their work at the open mic. Please limit your selection(s) to 5 minutes in length in order to allow as many as possible to read. This is a good opportunity to read a recent publication, something you wrote last year, or a piece from a new book.
We have been separated for so long by the pandemic, we’d like to use this open reading as an opportunity to welcome each other back to in-person events. A bonus of the evening will be the open ACCC gift shop and a chance to see the gallery exhibit Express Yourself in Purple in honor of Prince.

This is a FREE event, everyone is welcome to attend.

Just show up at 7pm, if you’d like to read, and you can sign up then for a slot. You are welcome to invite family and friends to attend the event. We hope the public will join us. We will follow current CDC protocols to maintain everyone’s safety.
