Giving Tuesday Now – Donate on May 5th

Giving Tuesday Now

Hello,

On May 5, 2020, the Arts Consortium of Carver County is participating in #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity and giving. As you know, our mission is to Strengthen our Community through the Arts and Cultivate the Arts through our Community. We do this throughout the year with multiple opportunities like classes, art festivals, events, music concerts, literary readings, photo and poetry contests, exhibitions and more.

In this unfamiliar time, there is a fundamental truth that gives us hope that together we can do extraordinary things. Over the past few weeks and months, we have witnessed the entire world coming together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal. Whether that’s through donations to community organizations, celebrating doctors and nurses at shift changes, or reaching out to a neighbor to help with groceries or needed supplies. Generosity has been a breath of fresh air as it has been a key element in helping the world get through this unprecedented time.

Taking into consideration of the current events, we cannot do this without you! Not only do we need your support, we need your help to spread the word. Please tell your friends and family why you believe in our work and encourage them to support us too!

Join the movement on May 5, 2020! Simply go to our DONATE page on our website to give safely online. You can find us here: https://artsofcarvercounty.org/donations-sponsorships/

We have other non-financial ways you can participate in the #GivingTuesdayNow movement as well, we invite you to check in with us and let us know how Art is enhancing your and your family’s life, you can find us here: https://artsofcarvercounty.org/participation-ideas-giving-tuesday/

Thank you for your generosity and for being a part of the Arts Consortium of Carver County family. We appreciate you and look forward to your responses.

Be healthy and stay safe.

How to Participate in #GivingTuesdayNow for ACCC

Giving Tuesday NowJust like regular #GivingTuesday in December, #GivingTuesdayNow on May 5th is not exclusively a fundraising day – it’s an opportunity for people around the world to stand together in unity – to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and heal. While you certainly can donate critical much needed dollars for our mission, here are more ways to participate in #GivingTuesdayNow without a financial contribution.

We have many different types of volunteer opportunities from leadership positions on our Board of Directors to one shift at an event. We have a variety of committees like Communications/Marketing, Finance, Festivals, Music, Literary, Visual Arts, Social Media, and other administrative and organizational tasks. We can match your strengths and talents with our needs. Some are short term, some are long term, we try to be as flexible as possible. It starts with raising your hand by filling out our Volunteer Opportunities Form on our website.
