Janet’s love of art and history brought her as a member to the Arts Consortium of Carver County.  She has been actively involved and volunteered for the Barn Quilts of Carver County Project, which led to the creation of her own business, Barn Quilt Tours, LLC providing tour guide services to various groups. Janet is a member of the Willkommen Heritage And Preservation Society in Norwood Young America and the Carver County Historical Society, where she spent six years as a past board member.

She is also the Vice President of Human Resources for Young America, LLC, a digital marketing engagement company in Minneapolis.  She lives in Norwood Young America with her husband John, and their sons Jack and Jerid. Their family lives in the original Fahey Homestead and are the 3^rd generation to raise their family in this historic home.

Janet holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota.
