Silo Design Contest Winner

Todd Dexter winner Jonathan Silo Design ContestCongratulations to Todd Dexter, winner of the Jonathan Silo Design Contest.

Here’s a link to the full article in the Chaska Herald newspaper, article link.

Artists entering the Arts Consortium contest were asked to submit designs that didn’t stray too far from the original theme. Dexter’s was one of 43 entries submitted. Three finalists were chosen and voted on by residents, with the Jonathan Association board of directors selecting the winner at its March 2016 meeting. Dexter’s design was chosen and he received $1,500 in prize money. Congratulations Todd!

The Jonathan Silo is located at the northwest corner of Hwy 41 and Hundertmark Road.

The Jonathan Association plans to hire a mural painter for the silo project and hopes to have the work completed this summer. Todd said he’ll be making a lot more trips down Hundertmark Road when that happens.

A successful project partnership between the Arts Consortium of Carver County and the Jonathan Association.
