Details
The second round of entries in the Sower Gallery Spirit Show writing contest is now open.
Writers are invited to view the gallery, select one specific piece from work by 20 artists, and create a poem or short prose responding to it. A jury will again select the top three entries, and all submitters will have an opportunity to read their work during an End of Show reception set for Sunday, Aug. 27, 2-4 p.m.
The show promotes this theme: Spirit is all around and within us, understood in myriad ways. We recognize that everything that is sacred begins with the experience of spirit. Inspired expression shines through every religious tradition and culture since the dawn of human consciousness.
