We’re excited to celebrate the Art created by the Members of the Arts Consortium of Carver County.
Bring your friends and family to meet the artists and find out the stories that inspired their work.
All artwork in the show is available for purchase during the show as well as during the Artists’ Reception.
Enjoy light appetizers, beverages, wine and music throughout the evening.

Victoria Fine Art Fair – With a French Flair Saturday, August 3, 2019

Victoria Fine Art Fair 2019

Bonjour!  Bienvenue!  Welcome to our 3rd annual Victoria Fine Art Fair in the heart of trendy Victoria.  Our Art Fair has a French Flair this year, complete with French Wine, Food and of course the Eiffel Tower.  Shop for local art lakeside while listening to music and sampling wines. Visit the French flower mart, see samples of Famous French Artists like Monet, Matisse, and Cézanne. Watch artists paint Live plein air near the lake. Stop by the new ACCC Arts Center below to Ruby’s Roost Coffee Shop and see all the amazing artists we have inside as well.  Just like France and Germany along the Rhine, Victoria’s annual Volksfest is in conjunction with our French theme Art Fair to create a wonderful lakeside event. Join us!!!

Walk along the park overlooking scenic Stieger Lake and shop for the most unique treasures, gifts and displays of fine art. See talented artists painting live plein air.  Learn about famous French artists of the past. Paint with us on our community art project.  So much fun!! You’ll be supporting amazing local artists as we bring arts to our community.

We will have pottery, unique handmade guitars, jewelry, oil paintings, sculpture and more!  Listen to live music playing at the Charlson Thun Community Bandstand. This year the internationally renowned bluegrass band, Monroe Crossing, will be performing at 1pm. Music will continue into the evening with Volksfest line up of music, food and fun for all ages.

Innocent teens from Sweet Apple, Ohio, lose their minds when a struggling music producer from New York chooses their community for an incredible PR stunt. Albert Peterson wants to transition out of show business with a huge splash and he’s bringing Conrad Birdie, a fictitious version of Elvis Presley, to town along with him. Conrad’s headed into the Army, but Albert hatches a plan to have him kiss the head of Sweet Apple’s Conrad Birdie Fan Club live on national television before he goes. Hijinx ensue among all the teens, the lucky girl’s family, her boyfriend and the townspeople, while Albert’s girlfriend Rose manages all the logistics of executing the stunt — and his mother tries anything she can to prevent Albert from shutting down the family company. Beloved songs from the show include “Put On a Happy Face,” “The Telephone Hour,” “Kids,” and “A Lot of Livin’ To Do.”

Writers Read Water and Waves July 18

You’re Invited to…

Writers Read Water and Waves

On Thursday, July 18 from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Arts Center, Victoria, Carver County writers will read their poetry and prose on the theme of water and waves.  The open reading is planned in conjunction with the current visual art exhibit in the Arts Center entitled, “Nature:  Water and Waves.”

If you are a writer, please bring 2 or 3 readings, each of no more than 4 minutes in length, to share with the audience.  Everyone is invited to attend, so come with your family and friends for an evening of art and literary delight!  Light refreshments will be served.

Each month we plan to host 3 to 4 singer/songwriters, in an ”in the round” fashion where each artist takes a turn singing a song, accompanied by a story around the song or a little about them. This Is Ted, House Concert Series with Ted Hajnasiewicz April 13

Join us! The Ted House Concert has been rescheduled to Saturday, April 13 3-5pm

Ted Hajnasiewicz is a local Singer Songwriter who has just released a new CD called This Is What I Do. Ted has a 30 year career spanning many genres and is a captivating performer. Join us for a concert in the Arts Center. Learn more about Ted Hajnasiewicz, visit tedhtunes.com.

Driven to write the perfect song, Minneapolis-born singer/songwriter Ted Hajnasiewicz is constantly composing, learning, listening, playing and singing.

This Is What I Do CD is a culmination of years of song crafting. This is a sort of “greatest hits” package, compiling Ted’s favorite songs into one album to provide a relatable soundtrack for the lover, the loser, the sinner and the saint – roles we all play at any given moment in life.

Ted’s CD will be available for purchase at the concert.

As we step into our 10th year, we celebrate our past success. Please join us for our ACCC Annual Meeting.

All members are welcome to join us for a review of the past year and to learn more about what we envision for the upcoming year. We will introduce and appoint new board members. Winners of the Flash Fiction Contest will read their work. We hope you will join us for this annual meeting as we enter our 10th year as the Arts Consortium of Carver County.
